Marcus is a seasoned private markets professional with 20 years of experience partnering with middle-market and bulge-bracket private equity firms. He excels in buy-side transactions and optimizing sponsor-backed portfolio companies, with expertise spanning deal origination, operations improvement, finance, and due diligence. Previously, Marcus was a Partner in PwC’s Private Equity Group and held leadership roles at KPMG, Hitachi Consulting, and FTI Consulting, focusing on private market strategy.

Beyond his corporate career, Marcus is a successful entrepreneur. As co-founder of Forty34, a lower-middle market holding company, he is an owner and non-executive board member for a glass door manufacturer, a filtration and HVAC service company, and a wholesale MRO distribution business. He holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from Pennsylvania State University.
